- Washing - Leather is machine washable in cold water and one should use special care like using castile soap.
- Drying - Leather clothing should be hang dried.
- Ironing - Iron on lowest temperature and don't use steam. Cover with heavy paper while pressing.

- Don't wash bright colors (go to professional cleaners)
- Avoid washing leather which has delicate seams
